FAQs
for the TUG Leadership and Hall of Fame Gala
Q. What is the Hall of Fame and Leadership Gala?
A. The TUG Hall of Fame and Leadership Gala is an annual celebration recognizing the outstanding volunteers and dedicated partners who contribute to the success of TheUserGroup.org. It is our opportunity to honor those who go above and beyond in service to the TUG community throughout the year.
Q. Where and when is the Gala taking place?
A. The Hall of Fame and Leadership Gala will be held
Monday evening, April 14, 2025
in Grand Ballroom 2–4 on the fourth floor
at the JW Marriott Austin
Doors open at 7:00 PM
Cocktails will be available outside the room starting at 6:30 PM.
Q. May I bring a guest?
A. Yes! Each invited attendee may bring one guest. However, all guests must be individually registered at the time of RSVP, including their actual full name and any dietary restrictions.
Q. Why do I need to enter my guest’s name and dietary needs?
A. To ensure a personalized and inclusive experience for all attendees. Last year, one individual was mistakenly registered as a guest by five different people!
Please help us avoid confusion by entering unique and accurate information for your guest.
Q. What is the dress code?
A. Dress for Success! Black tie is not required, but we encourage polished, professional, or cocktail attire appropriate for a celebratory evening.
Q. Is the Gala open to all conference attendees?
A. The TUG Hall of Fame and Leadership Gala is a strictly invitation-only event. Invitees include the TUG Board of Directors, Network Leaders, Hall of Fame Award nominees and recipients (past and present), premier partners, Executive Summit attendees, and their plus-one guests.
Q. When is the RSVP deadline?
A. All RSVPs must be submitted no later than midnight on Thursday, April 3rd.
Q. Can I update my RSVP if my plans change?
A. Yes - of course! Please contact Karen Brown (kbrown@membersinc.com) or Tracy Stuckrath (tstuckrath@membersinc.com) as soon as possible.
Q: What if I RSVP and then don’t attend?
A. We understand that unexpected situations and emergencies can arise. However, please be mindful that last-minute cancellations — or failing to attend after RSVP'ing — result in a cost to the organization, as meals are planned and paid for in advance. If your plans change, we kindly ask that you update your RSVP as soon as possible by contacting Tracy Stuckrath (tstuckrath@membersinc.com). Simply choosing not to attend without notice is strongly discouraged and may impact future invitations.
Q. Will there be assigned seating?
A. Yes. All seating is assigned in advance. If you have a special request (such as sitting with your guest or team), please note it when you RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate all seating preferences within the limits of our table layout.
Q. Is dinner included?
A. Yes, a full dinner will be served during the Gala, along with hosted bar service and entertainment.
Q. Is there entertainment?
A. Yes! The Gala includes live entertainment. We promise you won't be disappointed!
Q. What if I have mobility issues or dietary restrictions?
Please contact us and we will be sure you are accommodated. We want EVERYONE to enjoy this evening!
